We marched before the snows fell in Kansas City. Fighting the cold bite in the air a brave few ventured forth with the birds and I to spread some urban farming joy. We paraded down to the Plaza and walked up and down the streets. Reaction were good, but mostly people didn't know what to make of us, and because of the cold getting a crowd was tricky. We got a lot of smiles though, and gave something for everyone snug in their shops to talk about. Its not every day you see a band of farming gypsies and a six foot chicken.
